We recently faced a new challenge: a customer requested a special metallic coating on our custom Gorilla Glass to achieve specific light transmission rates at various viewing angles.

It was a first for the customer — and for us — especially given the stringent optical requirements.

Our initial reaction was: Can this be done? How should we approach it? What solution will meet the criteria?

Instead of saying “no,” we chose to investigate, experiment, and push our limits.

Through collaborative effort and technical deep-dives, we found a workable solution. A custom coating on the glass to achieve what customer wants!

This experience reflects KANOU’s determination to embrace new challenges — not only to demonstrate our capabilities to customers, but also to expand our team’s knowledge, skills, and technical know-how.
