We received an enquiry from a customer in Vietnam regarding our custom cover glass. Coincidentally, I was already planning a trip to Vietnam the following week, so I took the opportunity to request a face-to-face meeting to better understand their current requirements and pain points.
During our discussion, the customer shared the frustration they had been facing with their existing cover glass supplier. From our point of view, many of these issues should not have occurred in the first place. As someone experienced in the custom cover glass sector, the mistakes made by the customer’s existing supply chain are concerning and fall below acceptable industry standards.
The cover glass is a critical component in the customer’s product — integrating with multiple mechanical and electronic parts while also serving important aesthetic and durability functions — any defect directly affects their production line and overall product quality.
After assessing their challenges, we worked closely with the customer to resolve the existing issues and restore stability to their production. Beyond that, we went a step further and proposed a solution to save them the ongoing headache of managing multiple suppliers and handling complicated assembly work. By positioning ourselves as a one-stop solution provider, we offered to take on not only the manufacturing of the cover glass but also the sub-assembly process.
Today, we are steadily progressing from being purely a cover glass supplier to delivering sub-assembly solutions for the customer — creating more value, simplifying their operations, and strengthening our partnership for the long term.
